Clairemont Real Estate

If you buy a home in Clairemont, you'll enjoy the wide-open landscape of this inland neighborhood. According to the City of San Diego, Clairemont is the first post-World War II development in San Diego. I love Clairemont for its gently rolling mesas and canyons, and neighborhood parks. I have listed a few of my favorite places in Clairemont below.
Clairemont can be subdivided into the neighborhoods of North Clairemont, Bay Ho, Clairemont Mesa East, Clairemont Mesa West, and Bay Park. The area is mostly residential with pockets of restaurants and shops throughout. The part of Clairemont known as Bay Park has many cool cafes, wine bars, and microbreweries. I like Aladdin Cafe for its fresh Mediterranean food. Spice & Soul is another great neighborhood hang out offering comfort food and a large selection of beers.
Clairemont is not far from Mission Bay Park which is San Diego’s 4,600-acre "aquatic wonderland". You can swim, learn to sail, go kayaking or rent a boat for a day of adventure. There are walking paths and picnic areas, fishing and diving spots. Mission Bay Park is also home to SeaWorld San Diego. The Tecolote Canyon Natural Park runs right through the Clairemont community. There are miles of hiking trails and an educational nature center. Tecolote is also where you'll find the Tecolote Canyon Golf Course which is known for challenging golfers with hazards at almost every hole.
